Impact Through Education
The Caring Cetera Diversity in Financial Planning Scholarship is expanding opportunities for the next generation of financial professionals. We support promising students with financial need who have been traditionally underrepresented in the financial planning profession, including racial minorities, women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Funding the Future of Student Success
Administered by Scholarship America, the Diversity in Financial Planning scholarship drives financial literacy, advanced education and ongoing career development support by working with students to overcome barriers throughout their professional journey. Recipients receive $5,000 renewable grants annually and the opportunity to participate in financial literacy and mentoring programs.
Students enrolled or seeking to enroll in an accredited financial planning program at any university throughout the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
The scholarship seeks to support students who identify with a group that has been underrepresented in the financial planning and financial services profession: racial minorities, women, members of the LGBTQ+ community. Minorities are defined according to the Census Bureau guidelines and include the following groups: American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
Help ensure the future of the financial guidance profession. Caring Cetera is actively seeking donations to provide scholarship opportunities to students.
The following institutions actively direct candidates to apply for the scholarship:
