Cetera Wins Two Wealth Management “Wealthies” Annual Awards
LOS ANGELES — Cetera Financial Group, one of the industry’s largest networks of financial professionals, is pleased to announce that two of its programs earned recognition at the 2021 “Wealthies” awards by Wealthmanagement.com, one of the industry’s largest events recognizing achievements in and beyond financial advice. The Cetera programs recognized are:
- Corporate Social Responsibility program of the year, awarded for the Diversity in Financial Planning Scholarship, which helps students interested in a financial planning career who are part of traditionally underrepresented communities – including racial minorities, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals. The scholarship is funded through donations to Caring Cetera, a non-profit founded and led by Cetera financial professionals.
- 401(k) Retirement Plan Support service of the year, awarded for Cetera’s Workplace Financial Wellness Program, which provides advisors the opportunity to engage businesses and plan sponsors by educating employees, helping them to become more financially fit.
Hosted by WealthManagement.com to recognize achievements in the industry, winners of the 7th annual Wealthies were announced during an in-person and virtual awards ceremony on September 9, 2021 in New York City.
