Los Angeles, CA — Cetera’s specialty-focused broker-dealer and insurance agency, Cetera Investment Services, has achieved a 45% year-over-year growth in life insurance revenue1. Throughout the pandemic, its network of financial professionals were equipped with sales support and seamless technology to capture opportunity during a time when many families and business owners were seeking added protection.

One of the biggest drivers has been Cetera’s focus on technology integrations through e-sign, its life insurance e-app platform and its financial planning software. It’s made insurance a seamless component to the financial planning process. The life insurance e-app platform is also available in a direct-to-consumer format for its financial institutions to promote on their portals, a top driver of insurance sales for its bank and credit union clients. Alongside several insurance marketing organizations, Cetera provides financial professionals access to specialty insurance training, bootcamps, sales support and more.

Oliver Tao, First Vice President at East West Bank and a top insurance sales leader shared, “During normal times, regardless if it’s for a business or family, insurance coverage can provide added peace-of-mind when looking to safeguard your financial wellbeing. Within the last year as our society has faced greater risks to one’s physical and business health, it’s served as an important strategy for protecting businesses and families amidst this pandemic. I truly believe that insurance should be part of every holistic financial planning discussion with investors.”

Sean Casey, Executive Vice President of the Cetera Investors division of Cetera Investment Services commented, “Cetera’s financial professionals have demonstrated a true passion for helping people protect hard-earned income and savings against unforeseen situations. We have observed firsthand that protection products can make a big difference through life’s turbulent times.”
