Stock Snap Five-Week Rally U.S. equity indices ended fractionally lower last week with the broad market S&P 500 snapping a five-week rally, its longest advance since August 2020. Continuing strong corporate earnings helped sentiment, but did not overcome fears over the strongest annualized consumer inflation report in 30-years. A survey report from the University of Michigan’s showed consumer sentiment index slumped to a 10-year low in early November.
